Vogalonga 2009

On the occasion of the 35th edition of the Vogalonga, Vento di Venezia offers the opportunity of boat parking at its structure, that consist of hotel, bathrooms with showers, bar and an excellent restaurant, amid pristine vegetation and in the tranquility of the Lagoon Park , just a few minutes far from S.Marco Square by boat.

The route of the Vogalonga competing boats, after 500 meters from the start, passes right in front of the Certosa landing jetty, where a tribune will be installed to let hosts look closely at the elegant and exciting parade. The Vento di Venezia Yachting Centre is on the Certosa Island, easily reachable by ACTV line 41 (every 20 minutes from S.Marco – San Zaccaria)
and line 42 (every 20 minutes from Fondamenta Nove).

The Vento di Venezia Yachting Centre offers to its associates the opportunity to use BIC kayaks. To rent boats is necessary to register to Vento di Venezia Sport Club. The 2009 membership fee amounts to 30 euro and authorizes the access to the Yachting Centre structures and to the (public/social) boat hire. Boats available on May 31st are:

BILBAO kayak (single) for 80 euros

TOBAGO kayak (double) for 150 euros

These boat models are particularly indicated to beginners and day-trippers, seeing their great stability, manageability and reliability and performance. They’re particularly suitable in swell conditions and, above all, they’re unsinkable. On the occasion of this great, significant occasion you will be able to take advantage of a 15% discount on boats purchase.
Vento di Venezia makes available plein – air spaces supplied with toilets and picnic areas to camp on the Certosa Island.
